  • Cost presets are now available in quotes without the need for developer intervention.
  • Cost preset calculations can now be previewed from the individual items on the quote page.
  • Terminology updated: instead of adding a “requirement,” you now add “items” with expenses.
  • Automatic quotes and instant quotes have been adjusted to handle the new cost preset structure.
  • A new “Show on Quote” toggle has been added, letting you show/hide presets on the customer-facing quote.
    • By default, any presets with products are shown, others are hidden.
    • Certain presets (e.g., outlets, zones) are shown automatically when generating automatic or instant quotes.

Quotes

  • Quote items can now be expanded/collapsed all at once for faster review.

Products

  • The workflow for adding products via CSV has been greatly improved. A new template is also available to help new companies get started.

Performance Improvements & Minor Changes

  • Saving and loading quote versions is now faster thanks to database and UI improvements.
  • The Jobs sidebar is now collapsible, making it easier to view jobs on smaller screens.

Things to Check

Pricing & Cost Presets

  • Check the new messaging at the top of each Pricing & Cost Presets page. Does it all make sense?
  • Open the new popup under Price Calculation Method > What Do These Mean? and check the wording.
  • Do your presets look correct for all quote types?
  • Do the new price calculation methods work correctly? (Test a quote with a preset that uses all 8 methods.)
  • ducted_rc_unit_{sm|md|lg} → split into ducted_rc_unit and ducted_rc_unit_install_{sm|md|lg}.
    • Do new and existing quotes have the correct prices, based on this structure?
  • outlets_standard → renamed to outlets.
  • zones_standard → renamed to zones.
  • zone_pack_platinum_2 → renamed to zone_controller.
    • Do new and existing quotes have these correct items added as they should?

Quotes

  • Do previous quotes look correct? Have all items been populated correctly across different quote types? Check the:
    • Systems tab
    • Acceptance tab
    • PDF
  • Test loading multiple versions of a quote from the Acceptance tab, especially with large quotes.
  • Test instant quotes from the front end:
    • Does the PDF look correct?
    • Can you email the quote to yourself correctly? To do this, open the quote PDF and add &email=true to the end of the URL and hit enter to go that page.
  • The Quote PDF has been restructured under the hood.
    • Does the Table of Contents count pages correctly, especially for quotes with multiple options and many hidden/shown items?
    • Do system options flow correctly onto multiple pages where needed?
  • Create a solar quote with batteries and panels. Once accepted, do STCs and CHB Subsidies come across to the job correctly?

Products

  • Review the new downloadable CSV template for each product type. Ensure it looks correct and makes sense.
  • Test the new “Replace all … from CSV” button using both options in the popup. Ensure products aren’t broken on quotes/jobs afterward.

Jobs

  • After accepting a quote with a new cost preset, does the preset come across to the job with correct items, expenses, and prices?
  • Do job sheets correctly show all products, even when a cost preset contains multiple product types (e.g., inverter, panel, battery)?
  • For ducted RC jobs, do job sheets correctly show the number of outlets and zones?
  • Test the new collapsible sidebar in jobs.
  • Do customer handover emails still attach the correct product details documents?
  • Do job statuses still reflect product details documents for the correct product types, even when using a new custom cost preset on the job?
  • Create a new cost preset with product > solar inverter. Create a job and add this new cost preset. Add a string inverter, then run through the commissioning checklist. Do the inverters populate correctly? Repeat this process with a micro inverter.
  • Create a job with panels only. Can you complete the commissioning checklist with no inverters?
  • Create a solar job from scratch. Do STCs and CHB Subsidies work correctly both during product entry and after saving?
